2018 World Environment day is celebrated in Taree with the Annual Envirofair, on Saturday June 9th at Taree Park on the corner of Wynter and Macquarie Street next to 2BOB Radio.
Envirofair is a community event hosted by the Manning Valley community radio station 2BOB Radio and is a day to raise awareness and to celebrate, indulge in all the good things offered by the magnificent region, a healthy environment: fresh air; delicious, nutritious food; music, dance and laughter. Last year's envirofair attracted more than 4000 visitors.
The event is in its 28th year and continues to raise awareness about environmental issues and how we as individuals, families or communities can protect support and enhance our natural assets. Envirofair is a family day of entertainment and features innovative market stalls, displays and demonstrations of ecologically-friendly products and ideas for living with a minimal environmental footprint.
Local artisans present their work, be it fresh organic produce or craft and musicians entertain with music that fits the theme.
Envirofair has the the kids sorted with a variety of cool activities & workshops including entertainment.
